LAYYAH, September 18 (Online Int’l): 3 girls died, while the mother and the younger brother of a family got severely injured in an electric shock while bathing at a house in Mohalla Sheikhan Wala Layyah.
According to media reports the incident occurred as the children were bathing in their house, during which they got electric shock by the water motor and 2 sisters died on the spot.
One girl was shifted to District Headquarter Hospital Layyah, where she lost her life. The mother and younger brother got severely injured while saving the girls, and are being provided with medical assistance.
The girls are indentified as 8 year old Alina Hashim, 8 years old Mehar-un-Nisa and 5 years old Ayat Akram, whereas their 3 year old brother Zulqarnain and their mother got severely injured.
The atmosphere in the area was mournful when three funerals were held from the same house and it was dreadful scene.
