Lahore, Sept. 20 (Online Int’l): Prime Minister’s Special Assistant, Dr. Shahbaz Gill has criticised the opposition’s’ All Parties Conference, terming it an attempt to save their loot.
Addressing a news conference, he said that opposition parties only want an NRO to save their skin from any probe into their corrupt practices. He said that this is the fifth APC in two years which shows opposition parties are afraid of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s commitment to accountability.
“If all thieves come together than it means honest police officer is in-charge”, he said adding, “No matter how many APCs are convened, the government will not give an NRO.”
Talking about the coronavirus strategy of the government, he said that the elite wanted a complete lockdown during the pandemic; however Prime Minister Imran Khan cares about the poor and refused to shut down the country.
