LAHORE: Nasir Abbas Jalib, the eldest son of poet Habib Jalib and brother of Tahira Habib Jalib, has reportedly passed away after a long illness.
Jalib Chair International Chairman Saifullah Saifi, President Malik Mohammad Ajmal and General Secretary Umar Memon, Faiz Cultural Foundation UK President Dr Umar Raz, General Secretary Ali Khaqan Mirza and Information Secretary Yousuf Ibrahim offered condolences in a joint statement saying that may Allah Almighty forgive the late Nasir Abbas Jalib and raise his ranks.
It may be recalled that Nasir Jalib had recently published his poem about his father Habib Jalib under the title ‘Pas-e-Manzar’.
