Islamabad: Yesterday, the Supreme Court had hinted at shutting down YouTube, on which now Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Imran Khan for Digital Media Tania Aidrus has issued a message saying that banning YouTube is not the solution to the problems. YouTube was banned in Pakistan for three years, which also limited the local content production ecosystem. Banning a platform like YouTube is not a solution.
