A disconnected Imran Khan and big-time losing PTI

KP municipal results just depict the disconnection of Imran Khan and the PTI with the general public and the PTI hardcore element or the workers.

The causes are;

1. As usual a kitchen cabinet of Imran Khan, giving all ok reports to him.

2. Mismanagement at the micro-level where vested interests and nepotism have seeped in.

3. Total disconnect of Imran Khan at a lower level.

4. Ignoring the workers who believed in Imran Khan as a leader but are highly disappointed with the corruption still continuing.

5. Poor governance at the provincial level.

6. Failure of Citizen’s Portal in addressing the issues. I will write on the causes of its failure in a separate article.

7. Non-existence of basic PTI infrastructure at the grassroots level.

8. Ignoring die-hard political workers and preferring electable and their relatives, it’s continued since the 2018 general elections.

9. A delay in municipal elections caused micro-level mismanagement throughout the country and the existence of basic political systems has diminished.

10. No organizer of the level of Naeemul Haq and those encircling Imran Khan are no good for the party or for the country itself.

11. Disconnect with the general public of all levels of PTI leadership.

12. After winning general elections PTI totally failed to rectify the mistakes that it did in awarding party tickets and that pattern continues in by-elections or in cantonment board and recent KP municipal elections.

13. PTI has become yet another party relying on heavyweights and the main leadership is not connected with the general public.

14. I am not buying the point of inflation as a cause of defeat as a lower turnaround of voters speaks of something more grave than this, say it’s more of a disappointment from Imran Khan in controlling the party itself. Failure of Imran Khan is not choosing the right people for the right job as he alone cannot control things on the micro-level.

15. Ministers love the ministries and have nothing to do with the issues and have failed to address the issues of the general public and the workers and are rather disconnected as if they won’t get the ministries again. They might be correct as such performance won’t lead them anywhere.

16. Failure in much-promised accountability.

Let’s sum it up with a few words that in PTI there is no right person for the right job.
