A Federal Minister under NAB’s Radar

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Pakistan’s National Bureau of Accountability( NAB) has started an investigation against a federal minister. NAB probe launched against Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri is accused of handing over the ministry building to his business partner. The complaint against Noor-ul-Haq Qadri is a case of conflict of interest.
According to NAB officials, this is a case of conflict of interest. Chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal handed over the task of all inquiries to DG NAB Rawalpindi Irfan Mangi and directed him to present a report in the next meeting.

It is to be noted that earlier NAB had started an investigation against Federal Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan, and now the investigation has been ordered on the complaint against Federal Minister for Religious Affairs.
It should be noted that NAB Chairman Justice R Javed Iqbal while addressing a function said that NAB Rawalpindi’s performance is better, NAB does not belong to any political group.
The NAB chairman further said that he had earlier paid attention to the cases which were pending for a long time. Apparently, accountability seems to be one-sided. He will resolve the complaint.
