“A New York Love Story” – Love Has No Boundaries

Love, as they say, has no boundaries. But we often hear that religion, caste and other socio-cultural norms come between true love.

They say that no wall can stop love. Proving this to be true, a New York couple is trying to shatter that notion just when their pictures have gone increasingly viral on social media.

A Pakistani-American artist Sundas Malik and an Indian-American woman Anjali Chakra celebrated their first anniversary together and their pictures are storming the internet.

Wearing their traditional attire, the couple was seen on the streets of New York sharing adorable intimate moments, which has the internet showering their love on the two.

The pictures, that were posted by the couple’s photographer Sarowar Ahmed have garnered approximately 48,000 likes on Twitter and has been retweeted over 8,000 times. In the pictures, Anjali and Sundas were seen hugging and kissing each other, while standing under a transparent umbrella.

“A New York Love Story,” the photographer captioned the pictures while he posted them on his Twitter account.

Sundas Malik also posted a picture with the love of her life on her Instagram account saying, “I’m usually the kurta to her lehenga, so coming up with family-ready femme wedding outfits was more than a little stressful for me.”

While posting another picture on her Instagram, in which both the women donned ethnic ensembles, said, “I grew up witnessing and watching different kinds of love, some in my family and some in Bollywood. after i got a little older and realized what my sexuality was, i never saw representation of people who looked like me. i’m so glad i have the opportunity to be that with the love of my life. happy one year babyjaan, God blessed me with you 5 days before my born day.”

Anjali Chakra also shared pictures with the caption, “Happy anniversary to the girl who taught me how to love & be loved.”
