A Pakistani Jew was allowed to go to Israel under Imran Khan’s government: Tahir Ashrafi

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council, Allama Tahir Ashrafi has said that Pakistan does not have commercial relations with Israel, nor is there any attempt to do so. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should stop making baseless accusations.
Allama Tahir Ashrafi said that PTI is doing propaganda with reference to Pakistan’s trade relations with Israel. The agreed position is being made controversial for political purposes, this should not be done.

Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said that a Pakistani Jew was allowed to go to Israel during the government of former Prime Minister (PM) and Chairman PTI, Imran Khan. The Pakistani Jew sent Pakistani goods to Israel through an Arab country. No NOC was given out from the Ministry of Commerce or Foreign Affairs regarding this, nor is there any information that it was officially allowed.
Allama Tahir Ashrafi further said that this action was a matter of concern for the Pakistani people. Some friends started politics on the disputed issue of Pakistanis and started challenging the government, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, his party, and other parties supporting the government. I do not think that the government, coalition parties, or Maulana Fazlur Rehman are involved in this process.

It is worth mentioning that recently, spices, dates, and dry fruits of Pakistani traders have started selling in the Israeli market. Fishel Benkhald, Pakistan’s last Jewish citizen, posted a video on Twitter in which he displayed Pakistani goods announcing that they are for sale in the Jewish market. Benkhald wrote: “I exported first batch of Pakistan food products to Israel market”.

Expressing happiness, Benkhald wrote, “Congratulation to Me as a Pakistani”. After this tweet, PTI is propagating on social media that trade between Israel and Pakistan has started. A central leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is also engaged in propaganda on Twitter. PTI leader Babar Awan has demanded the arrest of the delegation going to Israel. He said it is written in the constitution that you cannot go to Israel, ask those who call Imran Khan a Jewish agent, how did the containers go?
Other leaders of the PTI are also reacting on the issue, however, Allama Tahir Ashrafi has made it clear that there is no such thing.
