Lahore, 30th September: CCPO Lahore Umer Sheikh has arrested a police officer who did not attend the call on 15.
According to a police spokesman, this morning CCPO Lahore Umer Sheikh called at 15 to check the police response and sought help. The head constable on the patrol vehicle of Chowki Baloki advised to contact Kahna police station instead of helping. The CCPO also asked for the Ring Road helpline and police station numbers.
According to a police spokesman, Head Constable Bilal, who was on his mobile phone, suggested calling 15 again instead of asking for help and guidance. CCPO Umeer Sheikh arrested the head constable for not providing help and guidance.

Earlier, a case was registered against the police personnel who tortured the citizen. Chief of Lahore Police Muhammad Umer Sheikh took immediate action.
A case was registered against the police personnel who injured the self-esteem of the citizen. Security outside the Foreign Affairs Office Dr Noman was tortured by the on-duty personnel. CCPO Lahore took notice of the incident and ordered an immediate inquiry. SP Security Three Qasim Khan and SP Security Headquarters Khalid Mahmood were inquired.
Lahore CCPO Muhammad Umer Sheikh says that no police officer has any right to injure the self-esteem of citizens. A clear change in attitudes of Lahore police is required, police will now respect citizens, so the police will get respect automatically. Our job is to ensure the safety of life and property of the citizens, abuse of power is not tolerated at all.
