A renowned doctor commits suicide after killing his daughter
Lahore, 22nd January: A well-known doctor from Multan committed suicide after killing his 35-year-old daughter.
According to Baaghi TV reports, Dr Azhar Hussain, a well-known psychiatrist and professor from Multan allegedly shot and killed his only daughter, Dr Aliza Azhar Adnan.
According to sources, Dr Muhammad Azhar son of Mohib Hussain shot dead his daughter Dr Aliza, wife of Dr Adnan, 35, in his house with a pistol that hit her on the neck and injured her badly.
Dr Aliza, mother of three was immediately taken to the emergency services of the Nishtar Medical Complex, Multan, where she breathed her last.
Reported have also revealed that after the incident, Dr Azhar locked himself in a room and shot himself in the head.
The victim who was a qualified doctor belonged to an educated family. Dr Aliza was also a high achiever in her FCPS exams.
It is being reported that the father-daughter duo shared a very loving and friendly bond. A few years ago, Dr Azhar Hussain had married his daughter in a grand way.
Sources have also informed that some domestic issues led to differences between the father and daughter.
The victim’s family had informed the sources that Dr Azhar was suffering from mental health issues which led to his mental instability.
However, being a psychiatrist, the professor was used to handling such issues at the professional level, but nobody knows what happened actually that led him to take the life of his beloved daughter.
People on social media have urged to offer prayers for the departed soul and future well-being of her three little kids.
