A woman sues Hadiqa Kiani for Rs 20 million
Lahore, 4th December: Pakistan’s famous singer Hadiqa Kiani gets sued by a woman in Faisalabad after her failed hair treatment.
According to reports from The News, a woman has sought Rs 20 million in damages from Hadiqa Kiani after she allegedly lost her hair following a beauty treatment at the singer’s saloon.
The woman, identified as Zahida, also filed a separate Rs 20 million claim against the owner of the Hadiqa Kiani Salon’s franchise in Faisalabad and demanded a compensation of Rs 2.5 million worth of expenses.
The woman claimed in the lawsuit that she suffered hair loss after having a hair straightening treatment from the singer’s saloon.
She further alleged that it was the use of harmful creams that caused her hair to fall out, distorting her appearance.
As per reports from Geo TV, a local court has summoned Hadiqa Kiani, the salon’s franchise owner, Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, as well as the district health officer on December 16.
An official reply by the franchise owner is soon to be filed in the court.
