Renowned television anchor and PTI leader from Karachi Aamir Liaquat Hussain who decided to issue his resignation as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) MNA, revealed he was on his way to the PM’s Office to offer his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Earlier today, in a statement on Twitter, the renowned TV personality said he has been vindicated in front of the minority Christian community in his constituency.

He said they have installed in 960-long water pipeline in UC-13 Jehangir East which had no water supply for the past thirty years. He added he vowed to serve his constituency and is making fill efforts to serve his people to the best of his abilities.
Last week, Aamir Liaquat Hussain has said he will present his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In a tweet, the television personality and parliamentarian said he is a helpless MNA of Karachi, and has requested time from the prime minister to present his resignation.
“I cannot provide electricity to my people. I cannot bear to see the suffering of Karachi especially my constituency. I cannot bear the lies of (K-Electric CEO) Moonis Alvi,” he said.
Notably, he who won on a PTI ticket from NA-245 in the 2018 general elections, had earlier hinted at resigning in a post on Twitter, citing reasons that he could not offer his constituents any respite from Karachi’s frequent power outages.
