Abhishek Bachchan has finally addressed the ongoing buzz and speculation around his personal life, especially the rumours claiming that he and his actress wife, Aishwarya Rai, are getting divorced.
In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Abhishek opened up about the speculations and shared that, “I go back home to a happy family.” He further mentioned that his wife does not let the outside noise affect the family and added, “One thing is for sure, first my mother (Jaya Bachchan) and now my wife (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), they don’t allow that outside world to come in there.”
“I have grown up in this film industry, so I also know what to take seriously and what not to take seriously. I don’t get affected by what’s happening on social media,” Abhishek stated.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai tied the knot in 2007 and are parents to a girl, Aaradhya Bachchan. However, for a long time now, rumours of trouble in Abhishek and Aishwarya’s married life have been making headlines.
It all started after the couple appeared separately for the media at the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding last year. Later, Aishwarya also shared photos from daughter Aaradhya’s birthday bash which did not feature any of the Bachchan family members, including Abhishek. Abhishek was also not seen cheering for Aishwarya during her Cannes appearance this year.
