Abu Dhabi Hosts T10 League Players Drafting 2019

Abu Dhabi (27th Oct, 2019): Abu Dhabi T10 League players drafting held in Dusit Thani hotel.

According to Baaghi TV’s reports, the drafting which was held in a very famous Abu Dhabi hotel, Dusit Thani, was attended by all owners and key players, respectively. In the beginning, the chairman of T10 League, Mr. Shah Alam, started with his welcome speech during which he acknowledged the audience, the team owners, the management and the media personnel. In his speech he expressed his hope that the league will be as successful as it had been in the previous years.

Moreover, he also welcomed two new teams, namely:

  • Team Abu Dhabi
  • Qalanders

This year’s T10 would be a first for these two teams.

In this event, players from all over the world are made available for drafting. Additionally, there are eight rounds of drafting and key players of the teams also attend this event including Hashim Amla, and Thesara Perera, respectively.

According to Baaghi TV, Qalander which is a debuting team has picked world class Pakistani All-Rounder, Shahid Afridi, stating that he will be the key player for their team. Maratha Arabians picks Indian All-Rounder Youvraj Singh. The Co-owner of the team, Indian actor Sohail Khan who is also brother of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan said that, “it is terrific to have [such a] world class player in our team”.

As confirmed by our correspondent, this year eight teams are set to be participating in the T10 League, including:

  • Team Abu Dhabi,
  • Maratha Arabians,
  • Bangla Tigers,
  • Deccan Gladiators,
  • Qalanders,
  • Delhi Bulls,
  • Northern Warriors,
  • Karnatka Tuskers.

The Opening ceremony concert of the Abu Dhabi T10 League will reportedly take place on 14th of November, 2019, with the first match kicking off the next day. In the opening concert of this league Pakistani rockstar, Atif Aslam and International actress and dancer, Noora Fatehi will perform.
