Islamabad (7th Jan, 2020): Accountability Court (AC) to indict former President, Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur.
According to reports, Accountability Court (AC) has decided to indict former President, Asif Zardari and his sister, Faryal Talpur, in mega money laundering case. The accused are to be indicted on the 22nd of January, claim sources.
The Court has issued notices to all suspects with regards the mega money laundering and case and Park Lane references, respectively.

Judge Azam Khan of Accountability Court, Islamabad, took up the case for hearing on Tuesday. According to reports, during the course of the hearing, Asif Ali Zardari’s Counsel took the plea that Zardari is under treatment in Karachi and suffering from multiple diseases.
Court has reported remarked that it will impose an indictment charge in the next hearing for the money laundering Park Lance references and that all suspects of the case should be in attendance. Moreover, the Court has issued notices to Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur [Zardari’s sister], Anwar Majeed, Abdul Ghani Majeed, Hussain Lawai, Namar Majeed, Younis Qidwai, among others et cetera.

According to reports, National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) investigation officer has informed that nine new suspects are included in the supplementary reference while five names have been excluded from the list of suspects.
Court has adjourned the hearing for supplementary references of Park Lane and money laundering case till the 22nd of January, 2020.
