Accusations against the Army, an unwarranted propaganda

According to Baaghi TV reports, since the success of the no-confidence motion against ousted Prime Minister (PM) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan, PTI leaders, and social media team have been criticizing Pakistan’s national security agencies, especially the Pakistan Army.

The Armed forces of Pakistan are deployed on the borders, actively defending the state and the nation to ensure national security against the enemies of the state. Every day, the young soldiers and officers of the Pakistan Army are making sacrifices for the nation, embracing martyrdom for the sanctity of the state.

In such a situation, the ousted PTI government is engaged in organizing protests and speeches against the Pakistan Army, by initiating anti-institution trends on social media despite the people of Pakistan accepting that the military is the “real protector” of the state. The PTI is manipulating the political field with its anti-military propaganda and undermining the efforts of the brave young men who lay down their lives for the nation and step in to protect the people in every hour of need be it an earthquake, flood, or any other natural disaster(s), it is the Pakistan Army that defends the borders with a selfless spirit.

This is particularly why the Pakistan Army beats in the hearts of the nation, and it is this love of the people that is the real strength of the military personnel stationed across Pakistan. In the current political climate, unwarranted allegations against the military are detrimental to the future of the state. A spokesperson for the Pakistan Army has consistently clarified the non-political role of the Pakistan Army. Head of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Babar Iftikhar said that the people and political parties are requested not to drag the Army into their agenda. The DG ISPR said that we want to stay out of it.

Additionally, negative propagandists against the Pakistan Army are in fact supporting the enemies of the country. What the enemy could not do, they are now doing by means of social media activists supporting an online campaign of the ousted PTI government. Criticism of institutions should be stopped and those who have been in power for three years should make their three-year performance public.
