Accused arrested for trafficking Lahori girl for Tribal Leaders

LAHORE: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Lahore shared details concerning the arrests of accused criminal elements during a press conference.

The SSP said that the accused who have been involved in serious incidents including trafficking, murder, and indiscriminate killing of innocent girls post-abduction, have been arrested. According to Baaghi TV reports, two accused namely Faisal and Ittefaq Butt, in the case of abducting and selling girls within Balochistan have been arrested.

The accused lured the 19-year-old Diya Akram, a resident of Factory Area Lahore police station, to Karachi. According to reports, they sold the innocent girl to tribal chiefs of Jhal Magsi in Balochistan for a small sum. Apart from kidnapping, the accused have various cases of vehicle theft registered against them across police stations in Lahore.

Moreover, the Nawabshah Investigation police have arrested three suspects for kidnapping citizens for a ransom of Rs.10 million. The suspects posed as officers of the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) and demanded ransom. Meanwhile, investigation police Manga Mandi arrested three accused who shot citizen Saifullah dead and injured Muhammad Nawaz. Also, accused Shamim Bibi along with her acquaintance and friends, Waqas and Azam killed Saifullah. 

According to Baaghi TV reports, the investigating police division arrested Amin, accused in the murder of Muhammad Asad Madni. The accused reportedly shot Madni dead out of personal resentment.
