Baaghi TV: Police arrested the accused along with four accomplices who opened fire outside the cinema during a stage play by senior actress of Pakistan showbiz industry Meera.
Two unidentified persons opened fire during the stage performance of actress Meera at Sabina Cinema in Factory Area area of Faisalabad, Punjab about a week ago. The armed men snatched the gun of the security guard and fled as a result of the firing. The windows of the vehicles parked outside were shattered while the accused fled the scene after the firing.
However, there were no casualties in the shooting incident. The people in the cinema got scared and left the cinema after the incident.

Later, Punjab Police took immediate action on the news of the incident spread by Baaghi TV. Punjab Police issued a statement on its official Twitter handler saying that te police took immediate action against the accused. The police station has registered a case in the factory area while raids are being carried out to arrest the accused. The accused will be arrested soon.

However, now the two accused riding an unidentified motorcycle who escaped after firing have been arrested by the Factory Area Police Station along with four accomplices. The arrested suspects include Adil Awan, Shoaib, Asad and Samiullah.
According to the police, the accused have been involved in several cases of robbery and extortion and they had fired to damage the reputation of the cinema. Further investigation has been started by transferring the four arrested persons.
