Action to be taken against schools in Sindh

Lahore, 13th August: Sindh High Court has directed to take action against the schools which have not given a 20% discount on fees.
According to Baaghi TV, the Sindh High Court heard a case regarding discounts on the fees of private schools in which the court directed the DG Private Schools to take action against those who do not give a 20% discount in school fees.
The court directed the parents to lodge a complaint against the schools for non-payment of fees and the Director-General of Private Schools, Mansoob Siddiqui, to take action against the private schools for ensuring strict implementation of the 20% discount law.

The DG Private Schools assured the court of action against the schools which did not reduce the fees. During the hearing, no objection was raised by the Sindh government on the 20% discount.
Subsequently, the Sindh High Court directed to submit a report on the implementation of the reduction in fees within 20 days and disposed of the application after the consent of all the parties.

After the closure of educational institutions, there have been disputes between parents, school, owners and the government in Pakistan over the issue of private school fees.
When the government asked for a reduction in fees, the school owners went to court. Parents are unable to pay fees due to lack of employment during the lockdown and school owners are sending notices to parents for submission of fees.
