Afganistan Urges Pakistan to Stop Afghan Refugee Expulsions

Afghan government has urged neighboring countries, particularly Pakistan, to immediately stop the forced return of Afghan refugees. At a meeting of the High Commission for Refugee Affairs, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Abdul Salam Hanafi, officials emphasized the need for a coordinated and mutual strategy for the return of Afghan refugees. Abdulmutalib Haqqani, spokesperson for the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation, said: “Our request to neighboring countries, especially Pakistan, is to reconsider this decision.
