Afghan Deputy PM Meets With OIC Special Envoy

Abdul Salam Hanafi, 2nd deputy prime minister of Afghanistan, in a meeting with OIC special envoy for Afghanistan Tariq Ali Bakhit, asked Islamic countries to invest in the extraction of minerals and in the energy sector in the country.

The OIC tweeted that they emphasized continued humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in an OIC meeting of foreign ministers.

In that conference, recent changes in Afghanistan and the humanitarian situation was discussed.

“The Arabic and regional countries can have a good impact on Afghanistan’s progress, in every sector they invest it will make work,” said Abdul Naser Reshtia, economist.

Meanwhile the deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate said that in the near future, technical staff for humanitarian assistance will came to Afghanistan.

“They want to help people of Afghanistan in progressive projects and for this reason they will come to Afghanistan,” Bilal Karimi.

Meanwhile, the deputy of the Economic Ministry said that Islamic countries are cooperating in various sectors with the Islamic Emirate.

“Islamic countries are cooperating with the Islamic Emirate in the education, health and humanitarian assistance sectors,” said Abdul Latif.

The OIC office, in coordination with Saudi Arabia, opened this year in Afghanistan to provide help in various areas.
