6 People Wounded in IED Blasts in Kabul, Nangarhar

Afghanistan: Two IED blasts on Sunday have left at least six people wounded. One explosion occurred in Kabul and the other in the eastern province of Nangarhar.

At least three people were wounded in a blast targeting an armored vehicle in the Shah Shaheed area of PD8 of Kabul city this morning, Kabul police said in a statement.

The incident occurred around 8:30 am local time, said police, without providing further details. Eyewitnesses said that five people were wounded.

Earlier, three civilians were wounded in a mine blast in PD4 of Jalalabad city also on Sunday, local officials confirmed.

The officials said the incident is being investigated.

No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for either blast.
