Afghan immigrants in Pakistan who have US immigration cases have protested, calling on Washington to address their challenges.

Some of these immigrants told TOLOnews that they have spent three years in Pakistan, facing numerous economic challenges and issues such as mistreatment.

“A guarantee that cannot allow for the transfer of allies, especially us Afghans who came to a second country with that letter for the purpose of going to a third country, will lose its value and credibility at the global level,” Kefayatullah Khan, a US immigration case holder in Pakistan, told TOLOnews.

“We can no longer endure this situation. Pakistani police are deporting all Afghans due to lack of visas. We ask President Trump, the US Secretary of State, and the US Congress to please restart our relocation process,” said Risa, another US immigration case holder in Pakistan.

The US refugee program was suspended for four months after Donald Trump entered the White House.

Meanwhile, Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw has emphasized the need to evacuate former US allies from Afghanistan.
