Afridi interested in coaching

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has expressed his desire to take up coaching in future.
While speaking to Gulf News, the veteran all-rounder was confident that he can help the youngsters in improving the mental aspect of their game.
“I would be interested in coaching young boys under 18 and 19. It is that age they need coaching,” said Afridi. “If I tell my story to a young aspiring cricketer on how I braved the pressure situations in tough games, it will not only motivate them but also they will be learning a lot of new things that will help them become a good cricketer.”
However, the 41-year-old ruled out the possibility of coaching the Men in Green in future.
“I don’t have the temperament to coach the national team,” he said. “Moreover, I am fit as ever so my focus is on playing cricket right now and try and give my best for the team.”
