Israeli forces have withdrawn from the city of Jenin, following a ten day episode of “violent aggression”, Palestine’s official news agency (WAFA) reported. They withdrew their focces also from a refugee camp there.
Twenty-one people were killed in the city and camp so far due to Israeli atrocities, the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement.
Media representatives also reported extensive damage of infrastructure left by Israeli forces.
In a statement on social media platform, the foreign ministry of Palestine accused Israel of transferring its brutal destruction and devastation in Gaza to the occupied West Bank (WB), as evidenced by the situation in the cities of Tulkarem and Jenin, and the refugee camps there.
Israel’s war on Gaza is in its 336th day, killing at least 40,878 Palestinians and wounded over 94,454 others, with thousands more believed to be buried under debris of bombed homes.
