London: According to reports the separatist government of Manipur in exile has launched its official website. According to sources the government in exile of Manipur chose Sunday as the day when the website would be launched. The site was inaugurated by Chief Minister of the Independent State of Manipur Council Yamben Biren, and the separatist government of the state will use it to make its voice heard in the world.
It may be remembered that the separatists had announced a government in exile at London. Last October in London the representatives of the Maharaja of Manipur formed a Manipur State Council. They say there is no place for them in Narendra Modi’s India and the world should recognise us as a state so that we too have the right to live freely.
The Chief Minister of the Independent Manipur Council in London, Yamben Biren said on the occasion that there is no place for us in Modi’s India and our government headquarters will be the Maharaja’s palace.
The representatives of the Maharaja of Manipur had appealed that they be recognised. Yamben Biren further said that India has violated United Nations declarations. He said that in this regard we will make a declaration to the Queen of England. Afterwards the ministers of the separatist government also made and official Declaration of Independence.
