After initial investigation, CTD makes shocking revelations regarding the Quetta blast

Lahore, 22nd April: The blast that took place in Quetta yesterday was a suicide attack, confirms the authorities.

According to reports, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) confirmed on Thursday that the blast that took place at Quetta’s Sereena Hotel on Wednesday night was a suicide attack.

CTD’s spokesperson informed that after the initial investigation carried out, it was found that the blast at the parking area of the Serena Hotel that killed 5 people and injured 10 others was indeed a suicide attack.

He added that further investigations are underway from different angles.

As per reports, the case of the blast has already been registered at the CTD police station under charges of murder and terrorism after the complaint filed by the Station Head Officer (SHO).


It is to be noted that a blast took place yesterday night at the parking lot of Quetta’s most popular five-star hotel, Serena.

According to reports, the blast took place where the Chinese ambassador and his delegation were supposed to stay for their visit to Balochistan’s capital city Quetta.
