Agha Niaz Magsi was born on April 2, 1967, in Bandi Wando near Shahdadkot. His father’s name is Muhammad Hassan and he belongs to the Magsi tribe of the Baloch nation. He received his early education at Goth Sakhi Nazar Muhammad Katohar Primary School, then had to migrate after a year, then in 1975 he entered his uncle’s madrasa from where he studied Arabic and Sindhi. After that, in 1981, he entered the sixth grade at Government Boys High School Qaboosaid Khan, where he studied for two years.

He matriculated in 1986 and entered Government Inter College Shahdadkot.

In 1985, he started writing poetry in Sindhi with a Sindhi song, then in 1988, due to poverty, he said goodbye to his education in the second year.

In 1989, he was appointed as a dispenser in the Health Department in place of his late brother. For the first time in the history of Naseerabad, he organized the Railway Ground Dera Murad Jamali Mushaira in 1991, which marked the beginning of regular literary activities.

In 1994, Agha Niaz Magsi started writing columns and his political connections included Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, Mir Zafarullah Jamali, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Sardar Zada ​​Sher Muhammad Rind, Mir Zahoor Hussain Khosa, Raziq Bugti, Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali, Mir Faiq Jan Jamali, Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali, Mir Sadiq Imrani, Babu Muhammad Amin Imrani, Mir Murad Abro, Syed Fazal Agha, Mir Izhar Hussain Khosa, Mir Salim Khan Khosa, Maulana Abdullah Jatak, Sahibzada Sikandar Sultan, Mir Ahmadani Khan Bugti, Sardar Chengiz Khan Sasoli, Mir Tariq Hussain Musori Bugti, Mir Majid Abro, Mir Nizam Lehri, Darihan Bugti. He has six children, including three sons and three daughters. He writes poetry in five languages, Urdu, Sindhi, Balochi, Brahui, and Seraiki, but, unfortunately, no collection of his poetry has been published yet due to poverty, because he does not have enough resources and is the sole breadwinner of such a large family.
