Ahsan Iqbal urges Ahmad Jawad to join PML-N
On Wednesday, Former Minister for Interior of Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal shared a picture of himself and Ahmad Jawad, a former member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), on his official Twitter account, urging the former PTI member to join Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
“I was pleased to meet an old friend, Ahmad Jawad. We had a good chat on the current political situation and challenges Pakistan is facing today,” he tweeted along with the picture.
In January, 2022, Ahmad Jawad was served a show-cause notice asking him to explain his position regarding party violation matter, within seven days of the receipt of the notice. Ahmad Jawad did not respond to the notice.

NAB moves PML-N’s Khawaja Asif to Lahore
According to a statement issued by the PTI: “The Sub Committee of the Standing Committee on Accountability and Discipline (SCAD) after analysing the facts of the case and reading the reply of the respondent found him committing a severe violation of the party constitution, hence, unanimously decided to strike down the party membership of Mr Jawad Ahmad from the party membership registration.”

In response to the ruling of the PTI’s decision, Ahmad Jawad said that it was “a piece of paper which does not value more than a piece of s**t”.
“I complimented him on his bold stance and urged him to join PMLN for contribution towards the cause of democracy and dev in Pakistan,” Ahsan Iqbal tweeted.
