Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has launched connected flights linking Pakistan to 16 exciting Chinese cities via Beijing through its partnership with Air China, according to PIA Country Manager Bilal Afzal, as reported on Sunday.
These Chinese cities encompass Guangzhou, Wuhan, Urumqi, Shenzhen, Xian, Shenyang, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nanjing, Harbin, Hangzhou, Hohhot, Dunhuang, Chengdu, Changchun, and Chongqing. Bilal Afzal shared this information with APP on the sidelines of the China International Fair for Trade in Service (CIFTIS) in Beijing.
PIA has established a presence in the Pakistan Pavilion at CIFTIS to showcase its achievements, with a particular focus on the pivotal role played by the national flag carrier in fostering people-to-people connections between the citizens of Pakistan and China.
He went on to explain that travelers can also take advantage of this offering to journey from 16 cities across China to Islamabad.
Presently, PIA operates a single weekly flight along the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route every Sunday. However, the airline is actively devising plans to introduce a new direct flight between the two countries.
Regarding discounts, Bilal Afzal mentioned, “PIA extends a 20 percent discount for students, accompanied by a generous baggage allowance of 80 kg for economy class and 100 kg for executive economy, on flights connecting Pakistan and China.”
