In yet another case of unruly behaviour by a flyer on flights, a passenger urinated on an Air India flight en route from Delhi to Bangkok on Wednesday, officials said.

According to information, the incident happened in the business class of Air India flight AI 2336, when a man urinated on a fellow-passenger, who is said to be the Managing Director of a big company.

The accused passenger was seated in the 2D seat in the business class and urinated on a passenger sitting nearby. While the victim passenger has not filed a complaint yet in connection to the incident, the accused has apologised for his actions.

Later, Air India confirmed the incident, saying that the standard procedure is being followed, and the matter has been reported to relevant authorities.

“Air India confirms that an incident of unruly passenger behaviour was reported to the cabin crew operating flight AI2336, from Delhi to Bangkok, on 9 April 2025. The crew followed all laid down procedures, and the matter has been reported to the authorities,” the airline said in a statement.

It also said that in addition to warning the unruly passenger, the crew offered to assist an aggrieved passenger to take up a grievance with the authorities in Bangkok, which was declined at the time.
