Campbell Wilson, the chief executive officer (CEO) of India’s national airline, has said that Air India is estimated to lose Rs 5,000 crore due to the closure of Pakistan’s airspace for a year.
Campbell Wilson in an interview said about 1,000 flights have been affected, so far, due to the closure, with 20 to 30 seats being kept vacant on many occasions to reduce the load on the plane.
Air India CEO Campbell Wilson said the government will decide on the talks on opening the airspace.
