QUETTA: Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to equip Balochistan with modern facilities. According to reports, private airline Air Sial has started flight operations from Quetta to Islamabad and Karachi.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri formally inaugurated Sial Airlines first flight at Islamabad Airport and later at Quetta Airport. Deputy Speaker National Assembly flew from Islamabad to Quetta and from Quetta to Islamabad on a test flight.
Sial Airlines CEO Amin Ahsan, Chairman Fazal Jilani, Vice Chairman Umar Mehr and other senior officials were also present at the inauguration ceremony while prominent political, tribal and social figures of Balochistan were present at the inauguration ceremony at Quetta Airport.
Ehsan Shah, President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Balochistan, Dr. Munir Baloch, General Secretary Bari Barich, Deputy Attorney General Nazar Baloch, Casco Board Member Sardar Khadim Hussain Wardak, Casco Board Member Akhtar Mandokhel, Muhammad Asif Tareen, Dawood Panezai, Syed Zahoor Agha, Faisal Dehwar Alam Kakar, Haji Bacha Agha, Sanaullah Agha and others were present.
The participants of the inauguration ceremony expressed happiness over the inauguration of Sial Airlines flights from Quetta and thanked Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri and the management of Sial Airlines. On the occasion of inauguration, the distinguished guest Deputy Speaker National Assembly cut the cake. Private company Air Sial will operate six (06) flights a week from Quetta to Islamabad and Karachi. Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri reached Quetta from Islamabad on a test flight.
Addressing the participants of the inaugural function, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly appreciated the launch of AirSial Flight Service and expressed the hope that the company would soon start operations from Gwadar as well. Thanking the Vice Chairman and the management, he said that the flights of Sial Airlines are an invaluable gift to the people of Balochistan which has been put into practice after a lot of hard work and struggle. He said that the inauguration of Sial Airlines in Quetta would provide better and modern facilities to the people of Balochistan and this airline would play a key role in solving the travel problems which would usher in a new era of development in Balochistan.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was determined to take Balochistan forward in the journey of development. PTI’s politics is to serve the country and the nation. Member Balochistan Assembly Syed Ehsan Shah and Air Sial officials also addressed the function and spoke about the flight service.
Later, Sial Airlines CEO Amin Ahsan, Chairman Fazal Jilani, Vice Chairman Umar Mir and other officials while addressing the function said that the first priority of Sial Airlines is to serve the people for the betterment of the journey. The credit for the inauguration of Sial Airlines in Quetta goes to Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri who has played a pivotal role in making this inauguration possible on a regular basis in both the central and provincial contexts and today in Quetta. On the occasion, we feel as if we are at home, he said, adding that we congratulate all the guests and the people of Balochistan, including Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri, in the hope that Sial Airlines will come. Will continue to provide services in the future keeping in view the public expectations and needs.
