AJK: Bilawal gives befitting reply to India G20 tourism summit in IOK

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressing the Azad Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Monday critisised India for holding G20 tourism summit in disputed Indian held Kashmir valley’s capital Srinagar.

Bilawal gave a strong message to the India that Jammu and Kashmir status is disputed and tourism summit is just a spokes screen to divert attention from human rights violations by Indian Army in held Valley.

FM Bilawal said India justifies brutal oppression on Kashmiri people and blame indigenous Kashmiri struggle as terrorism.

Bilawal expressed all out moral and diplomatic support for the freedom struggle of Kashimiris in IOK.

He said Indian oppression in Kashmir is complete travesty of justice.

He said, “I am the first foreign minister who is addressing AJK Legislative, Assembly, I am thankful to given me the historic opportunity.”

Earlier he said on Sunday that India could not suppress the voices of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) by holding a G20 meeting in the disputed region.

Bilawal arrived in Muzaffarabad on Sunday on a three-day visit to AJK to express solidarity with the people of IIOJK in the wake of India’s nefarious motives behind holding a G-20 meeting on Tourism in Srinagar.

En route to Muzaffarabad, Bilawal, also the Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was welcomed by hundreds of his party workers at the Kohala Bridge that linked Pakistan and AJK. Later, the PPP leaders and AJK officials welcomed him in Muzaffarabad.
