Al Jazeera nominates Imran Khan as the Personality of the Week

Lahore, 30th April: Prime Minister Imran Khan has been selected as the ‘Personality of the Week’ during a news contest by the Arab news agency Al Jazeera.

Al Jazeera’s weekly program ‘Sibaq-ul-Akhbar’ has voted Imran Khan as the ‘Personality of the Week’ for his views and efforts to address the issue of Islamophobia worldwide.

The international Arabic news agency based in Doha, Qatar runs a very famous weekly program ‘Sibaq-ul-Akhbar’ for an hour which goes live and is interactive on Al Jazeera TV.

The channel selects the top three to four news of the week during the show and asks its viewers to vote for the best news and the personality linked to that top story.

The program that got on air on April 24 nominated PM Khan the most popular personality.

Al Jazeera’s viewers selected Pakistan Imran Khan with 56% votes for his honest views on Islamophobia on the international front.
