What day is Holy Day?
Today, if we talk about celebrating Al-Quds Day, it means that this day is a day of support for all the oppressed in the world and a voice of protest against all the oppressors. This protest is also in support of the Palestinians who have been Zionists for almost seven decades. The protest is also against Al Saud, which has been raining bombs, rockets and missiles on unarmed Yemenis for three consecutive years.
The beginning of Holy Day
Since the occupation of Palestine in 1948, this issue has been the focus of much attention from religious scholars, especially Shite scholars, from the very beginning, and they have been working to resolve this issue with great sensitivity. Even when the Palestinians themselves had won over the Zionists in the “War of the Crusades”, a single day in October was presented as Palestine Day, but it was not well received. Hazrat Imam Khomeini (RA) from the very beginning of his movement and struggle declared the independence of Palestine and its occupation illegal. Following the success of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, it cut ties with Israel and handed over its embassy to the Palestinians. Then, when Israel invaded southern Lebanon, Imam Khomeini (RA) declared the last Friday of Ramadan as Al-Quds Day on the thirteenth of Ramadan, 1399 AH.
