Ali Zafar retaliates and advises on ‘Little Homework’

Lahore, 22nd December: Ali Zafar, the renowned singer-actor from Pakistan is often seen supporting noble causes in the country.
Baaghi TV: For the last two years, Ali Zafar has been caught up in a sexual harassment case alleged by his colleague and singer Meesha Shafi.
However, recently, the allegations against Zafar have been proven wrong by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), which has served an interim challan to singer Meesha Shafi.
Celebrities and people on social media have come out in support of Ali Zafar and have maligned the false campaign started by Shafi and her lawyer Nighat Dad.
According to Baaghi TV reports, Ali Zafar in one of his recent tweets supported a ‘Charter Of Demands’ presented by a local organization ‘Women In Law’.
The organization which works for equality of opportunity and connectivity of female lawyers in Pakistan shared a Charter of Demands on their Twitter page today:
On Pakistan's National Working Women’s Day today we present our #CharterOfDemands to build an equal and inclusive future. We focus on fair representation, effective strategies to address GBV, ending discrimination, equal and safe access to public spaces and climate action. pic.twitter.com/XktmwMg7FU

Ali Zafar retweeted the tweet by ‘Women In Law’ on his official Twitter page claiming that justice should never be delayed.
Finally. What I have been saying for almost three years! There should be no “delays” in legal proceedings. Justice delayed is justice denied. On line smear campaigns and those behind them should be caught and punished immediately before they r able to do the irreversible damage. https://t.co/0gtsskjCIT

Referring to Meehsa Shafi, in a series of his tweets, Zafar wrote that because of some liars, all women can’t be categorised the same way.
Also just because someone lied, does NOT mean all women lie. The cause must be kept alive and this whole saga must not be allowed to take away the attention, care and concern for genuine victims. #metoo

However, the women organization replied back supporting Meesha Shafi’s cause:
We would advise you to re-read the statement. This statement is, in no way, an endorsement of your position. The delay being referred to is the delay vis-a-vis Meesha's harassment case, which still hasn't received a hearing on the merits. https://t.co/7Q23HDwrAI
