All-rounder Alia Riaz played an excellent 81-run innings to bring the team back into the match but failed to lead the Pakistan women’s cricket team to victory. She shared a 111-run stand with Nada Dar for the sixth wicket. This is the best partnership for this wicket of Pakistan cricket.
Alia Riaz, All-rounder National Women’s Cricket Team:
Alia Riaz, the all-rounder of the national women’s cricket team, said: “We thought the series against South Africa would be very challenging because their team is made up of the best players and they are good at playing in these conditions, anyone coming from the subcontinent. These conditions are tough for the team.
“Although the hosts won the first two matches of the series against South Africa, we want to end the series well by performing well in the third ODI,” he said.
