Lahore, 28th June: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has said that all accused have been arrested and an anti-national intelligence agency’s involvement has been found in Lahore’s Johar Town blast.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar held a press conference on Monday in Lahore and informed that all terrorists responsible for the Johar Town blast have been caught.
Punjab CM said that 3 people including a policeman were killed in the Johar Town blast. Some people injured in the Johar Town blast are still undergoing treatment.
He added that an investigation was launched 16 hours after the Johar Town blast. The anti-state intelligence agency is involved in the Johar Town blast.
It is to be noted that the Johar Town blast took place on June 23 at 11 am. The CTD identified the culprits and arrested the terrorists in four days. The accused were arrested in a very professional manner. All the evidence against the terrorists has been collected.
While talking to the media, Inspector General (IG) Punjab Inam Ghani said that we had traced the entire network and 10 people including women are in our custody.
While concluding, IG Punjab said that the target of the terrorists was a police check post, however, on suspicion, the police officers stopped the vehicle and checked it.
Meanwhile, a police mobile was also parked near the place where the terrorist incident took place. There were three police checkpoints in the area where the blast took place.
