ISLAMABAD: According to Baaghi TV report, Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that political instability is the cause of the economic crisis affecting the country. 

Speaking with the media in Sialkot, on Eid ul Fitr, the Defense Minister said that there is a need to stabilize the political climate in the country. He said there can be continuity and stability in the country if we stay within the framework of the constitution.

Recently, Khawaja Asif criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan in a tweet. Asif wrote that Khan auctioned off an election worth billions of rupees, the final date of which is still doubtful. This con man does not stop cheating his workers and the party to earn money.

Asif further wrote: “Now [Khan is] saying appeal, I will revise the tickets. He will then grab wealth and pocket billions.”
