Alvi calls for improvement in FPSC recruitment process

President Dr. Arif Alvi, during his meeting with Chairman FPSC Mr. Zahid Saeed, called for several measures to improve the civil services of Pakistan by choosing the right person for the job and updating the examination and recruitment process. 

President Alvi said that the FPSC, being Pakistan’s top examination authority for induction into the civil services, should be topnotch and should match the world standards in terms of its recruitment process.

The President expressed his views when Mr. Zahid Saeed called on him to present the annual report of FPSC for the year 2021 at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad.

Other attendees included Secretary FPSC Syed Hasnain Mehdi senior officials of the establishment division and the President’s Secretariat.

The president said for the interviews, standard questions should be selected and evaluated, and the response of the interviewer should be calibrated and quantified on a statistical and scientific basis.
