Tweeting on social networking site Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated the entire nation and the Armed Forces on the completion of two years of the success of Operation Swift Retort, saying that the arrested Indian pilot was returned under responsible conduct.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said, “I welcome the resumption of the ceasefire with the LOC. India has a responsibility to create a conducive environment for further progress. India will have to take necessary steps to meet the long-standing demand of the Kashmiri people and their right to self-determination on the resolutions of the UN Councils. We also returned the arrested Indian pilot, demonstrating Pakistan’s responsible conduct in the face of India’s irresponsible military mismanagement. We always stand for peace and are ready to move forward to resolve all outstanding issues through dialogue”.

Imran Khan said that by returning the Indian pilot, we showed Pakistan’s responsible attitude to the world in response to India’s irresponsible military attitude. At the same time, he wrote, “We have always stood for peace and are still ready to move forward to resolve all issues through dialogue.”
