Lahore, 28th June: Pakistan’s renowned anchorperson Mubasher Lucman received a message from late Mian Tariq Shafi today morning after which he breathed his last.
According to earlier reports, former Prime Minister, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif’s cousin Mian Tariq Shafi died of a heart attack Monday morning.
Senior journalist and anchorperson Mubasher Lucman revealed that Mian Tariq Shafi was a very good man and that he was in touch with him.
“I used to talk to Mian Tariq Shafi. Today he sent me a message on WhatsApp at 5:57 in the morning, I sent him a message in the afternoon but did not know about his death, this is life,” added Mubasher Lucman.
Mian Tariq Shafi sent a Quranic verse and its translation to Mubasher Lucman.
Anchorperson Mubasher Lucman has expressed his condolences to the family of Mian Tariq Shafi on his death and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and patience for his family.
As per the latest reports, funeral prayers of Mian Tariq Shafi will be offered at 10 pm tonight at Ittefaq Mosque, Model Town, Lahore.
