The Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force, while staying within their borders, locked six Indian military targets in occupied Kashmir, but dropped their ammunition away from the target, sending the message that these targets could be destroyed if any further mistakes were made. Meanwhile, when the enemy sent planes to fight, the hawks of the Pakistan Air Force, during an exciting battle, destroyed two enemy planes.
In the world of chaos, the enemy could not harm our planes, but its anti-aircraft guns shot down one of its own helicopters. During the operation, the Indian pilot of a wrecked plane, Abhinandan, also fell into Pakistan’s hands but, out of a desire for peace, he was sent back to his homeland.
The Pakistan Air Force called this success Operation Swift Retort. In an exclusive interview with Dunya, Squadron Leader Faisal Riaz said that the biggest difference between us and India is the strength of faith and training. The result of these two elements was what helped us to crush the enemy in broad daylight. Every officer and young man of the Air Force is always on duty to protect Pakistan’s airspace.
