Another bird-hit incident at Karachi International Airport

Karachi, 1st October: The number of bird-hitting incidents with Pakistani flights is on the rise.

Baaghi TV reports that the number of bird-collisions with planes at airports is on the rise. A bird collided with the plane at Karachi airport recently.

The bird had collided with the Saudi Airbus 330 last night. According to reports, the bird had collided with the left engine of the plane.

Bird-hit incidents with the PIA aircraft on the rise

Saudia Airbus 330 had rejected to take off today at Karachi airport after being hit by a bird on the left engine last night at 12:00 pm.

 

In the last seven months, more than 34 PIA planes have been hit by birds and among them, 8 of the national airline’s planes have been severely damaged.
The affected planes include Boeing 777 and Airbus 320. There were reports of bird collisions with 15 PIA planes at Karachi Airport, 2 at Sukkur Airport, 2 at Peshawar Airport, 1 at Islamabad Airport and 2 at Quetta Airport.
