Former Punjab MPA Syed Rafaqat Gilani, who hails from Layyah, has announced that he is parting ways with the PTI.
During a press conference in Multan, he said he would continue to serve the people of his constituency. “I condemn the events of May 9 and am leaving the party.”
In response to a question regarding if he was pressurised, Gilani said that he had “no type of pressure on him.”
In the past two weeks, over a 100 senior and tier two leadership of PTI left Imran Khan and distanced themselves from PTI.
