Another Innocent Soul Falls Victim of Rape

MANSEHRA (26th Nov, 2019): Another innocent soul lost, four year old innocent girl falls victim of rape, near Mansehra.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the innocent girl named Jannat went missing from 4 days from Mansehra. Her parents tried to look for her but she was found days later in an 80 ft well. She had allegedly been fallen victim to the brutality of a group of unidentified men. They brutally raped her and thrown down an 80ft well located a few miles away from her village, Durband.

Reportedly, the innocent soul survived for 4 days shivering and starving, eventually, they found her and rushed her to the hospital. The little angel survived 4 days in the well but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries due to insufficient facilities and unhelpful staff.

Moreover, the girl’s father, Mohammad Nazakat has stated that there were no facilities at King Abdullah Hospital (where his daughter was taken) that’s the reason she could not get treatment. He also claimed that that there were no doctors at the hospital when they took their daughter.

On the one hand, Pakistani celebrities such as the renowned actresses, Armeena Rana Khan (Daldal) and Nadia Jamil (Mujhay Jeenay Do) have been posting about the incident in their social media.

This is what is happening in our country right now, and we people are still silent. Not sure that have we collectively lost our conscious? I’m seriously heartbroken and getting disappointed, perhaps Pakistan is not safe for kids anymore.

Where is our Prime Minister, Imran Khan? Where is local government? I guess Mansehra administration is sleeping, police as usual did not take any action and the most importantly where is our judiciary system? where is justice? Is there different laws for poor and rich people?

If this is the Naya Pakistan promised to the people of Pakistan by our ruling Prime Minister, Imran Khan, the “land of the pure” which is not safe for the pure souls of state, then the public does not want this change. We hope to gain back the Pakistan of the Quaid.

The ever growing ratio of child sexual abuse cases, is leaving the public disillusioned, reinforcing the notion that PM Khan’s promises at the time of the General Elections were perhaps nothing but pipe dreams. Are these the police reforms of KPK? The silence of the authorities is indication enough.
