A meeting of Anti-Corruption Punjab was held under the chairmanship of DG Gohar Nafees, in which it was decided to activate the Anti-Corruption Department in Punjab against large occupation groups.
According to the anti-corruption Punjab spokesperson, the probe against 37 politicians was approved. In which Rana Sanaullah, Rana Mashhood, Khawaja Asif, Rana Mubashir, Afzal Hinjra, Ajmal Hinjra, Mian Riaz, Ibaadullah former Chairman Rana Muhammad Azeem, Ashraf Abbas Dogar, Riaz Goraiya, Mian Zulfiqar, Rohail Asghar, Sohail Shaukat, Ghazali Saleem Butt are included.
According to the spokesperson, the investigation against which has been approved includes the existing MNAs, MPAs.
DG Anti-Corruption Punjab says that billions of rupees have been occupied on government lands for many years.
Earlier, Anti-Corruption Punjab arrested former PML-N MPA Ahsan Raza Khan. According to Anti-Corruption Punjab, Ahsan Raza Khan, a former MPA from Chunian, was arrested who was wanted in two different cases.
At the request of Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala, Anti-Corruption Punjab registered a case against former PML-N Federal Minister Ghulam Dastgir. The SDO of the Highways Department and three record keepers have also been named in the case.
