ISLAMABAD: Pakistani students stranded in Azerbaijan have appealed to the government of Pakistan.
According to reports, Pakistani students stranded in Azerbaijan in view of coronavirus have appealed to the government of Pakistan to repatriate them as soon as possible. A mother named Tauseef is a Pakistani student who is stranded in Azerbaijan and is waiting to return home.
“We are currently in Baku, Azerbaijan,” a student said in a video shared by another Pakistani student, Abdulrahman. “There are many more Pakistani students like us in other cities of Azerbaijan, some of whom have graduated while some are still studying but they also want to go back to Pakistan,” he said. “Apart from the students, there are a lot of people who came here for business, some of them have lost their visas while some are about to lose their visas,” he added.
