APS attack survivor, Ahmad Nawaz, makes Pakistan proud by assuming role as President of the Oxford Speaking Union

To this day, the memory of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar attack haunts the inhabitants of Pakistan. On December 16, 2014, terrorists brutally murdered 132 schoolchildren and 15 others after entering APS in Peshawar Cantonment.

Though some of the children survived, many of these were so harshly scarred by the bloodshed and horror they had witnessed that they found it hard to retreat back to normalcy.
